I have trouble seeing the scribed line, so I filled it with white paint. From what I read, the only guns that should have Full on the barrel are the first year guns. Hey guys, trolled for a while and decided to sign up and become a participating member here.

I purchased a 3-56 shotgun sight convenience kit from Brownells that included a 45 drill bit, and a 3-56 bottoming tap. Looks like it was router-ed out. I doubt if it was even 20% of the total production. Some of us tried to contact Dave and find out what happened with him, it's like he dropped off the edge of the earth. Obviously a tad more if you have box, tags etc. If anyone happens to have one of these in 28 ga. Rather than the typical Full choke script typically seen on the 30 barrel, it says Choke. Holy Geeeeezus, That is one nice Winchester Model 37, with a vent rib and recoil pad. Missing screw in the under barrel and the trigger guard is awol. I went and looked at one this evening and it was identical to mine, except the barrel roll marks were different. To finish the job I polished the chamber and new forcing cone with a 12-gauge chamber Flex-Hone® I purchased from Brownells. The above photo shows the forearm before and after stripping.
